7:30pm – The MC will announce a showcase performance. After this he will introduce the judges and explain the procedure for the competition portion of the evening. He will then announce the first group – the couples division dancers. The order of their appearance has been done by drawing names.
After each performance the judges will critique the dancers based on their style and performance of their routine. The audience will be invited to vote and at the end of all the couples’ performances, the MC will encourage the audience to buy $5 tokens and vote by putting the tokens into one of the voting canisters. Each canister will have a picture and the name of one of the dancers. The canister with the most votes will be the winner of that category with the second most votes being the runner up. The MC will keep the audience posted as to which dancers are in the lead.
