After winning the 2016 Pro-Am Category with their Cha Cha, Tracy caught the dancing bug and joined forces with instructor Orlando to continue the journey. Now the dance partners are back in 2022 to try and spin their hobby into cold, hard cash for Shuswap Hospice. Since Tracy last took to the dance floor, this former editor of the Observer has moved on to doing communications for the Columbia Shuswap Regional District. Bee-keeper Orlando continues to expand his blossoming honey business, which includes the development of honey wines at his family’s Baccata Ridge Winery. While Orlando’s favorite dance styles are the country dances, Tracy’s got a love for the Latin rhythms. It’s going to be interesting to see how this translates into their 2022 performance.
