Martina Bopp

Martina  has been a fixture in Downtown Salmon Arm since 1997 at Martina’s Classic Barbershoppe. She has provided Dancing With the Shuswap Stars instructors with great hair on the night of the performance, but this year she will be dancing rather than doing trims! Martina enjoys the outdoors, kayaking, cycling, or walking. She likes to spend time with friends, her two children and five grandchildren and playing soccer with her husband. She also has a love for dance and a flair for the dramatic, which will be highlighted in her Paso Double performance.

Instructor Markus Jaeger

Markus danced competitively for nearly 15 years in Germany before moving to Canada in 2003. But the dance fever never left him and in 2018, he found City Dance and began instructing again. Markus is a lover of the Latin dances, but he’s got many other talents. He and his wife Ursula are master bakers and have recently participated in the Shuswap Launch-A-Preneur program as part of opening their baking operation, Inspired Breads. The couple are thrilled with their move to Salmon Arm with their four children after living in the Lower Mainland. They now have a hobby farm, a thriving business at the Downtown Farmers Market and a love of all the things Salmon Arm has to offer.
