James and Chantelle Burgess grew up in the Shuswap, they met in high school and have been together ever since. They have two beautiful daughters, Mckenzie and Madison, as well as two spoiled labs, Marley and Blue.

James has worked with Lordco Auto Parts for 19 years, and works as the Regional Manager.  When James is not spending time with his family or working, you will find him in his garage working on anything with wheels. Chantelle has worked with SASCU for 7 years, and works in the Human Resources and Training Department. Chantelle enjoys music, art and is an avid foodie. James and Chantelle fill their days with camping, fitness and spending time with friends and family in the beautiful Shuswap area.

Other than dancing in the kitchen with their girls, James and Chantelle’s last dance together was at their wedding. They are very excited to take on the challenge of learning a new skill together. James and Chantelle have used our local hospice services in the past and knows how important their role is in our community. They are very excited to learn something new and step out of their comfort zone to raise money for Shuswap Hospice Society.
